Reducing Your Stress And Increasing Your Chances Of Conceiving At The Same Time

by Charlie Berry

If you want to have a child and have been trying to conceive for several months, then you should know that only about 59% of couples will become pregnant within the first three months of trying to conceive. Fortunately, 85% of couples will conceive within the first year, so it is wise to keep trying. If you find that you and your partner are starting to become stressed with the idea of conception, then there are some things you can do to reduce your stress and conceive at the same time.

Have Sex Every Other Day

If you are like most women trying to become pregnant, then you track ovulation every month. If you have not started to do this, then purchase an ovulation tracker or an ovulation monitoring kit. These kits test the luteinizing hormone in your urine. This hormone increases a day or two before you ovulate. When the hormone increases, then it is time to start trying to conceive. You will be fertile for the next five to seven days.

Most couples will engage in intercourse every day when ovulation occurs. However, this can become stressful for both you and your husband. If this is an issue for you, then you can try to conceive every other day throughout the five to seven day window. Research suggests that couples who engage in intercourse every other day instead of every day are just as likely to become pregnant as those who try to conceive every day.

You should also know that it is a myth that certain sexual positions help to increase the odds of inception. Also, lying on your back or raising the legs does not help either. This means that you should take the time to spend an intimate moment with your partner when trying to conceive. The pressure of trying to conceive can be stressful, and acting in a way that does not assist you with becoming pregnant can place strain and stress on your relationship.

Reduce Exercise Intensity

If you have spoken to your physician about becoming pregnant, then you may have learned that you should try to retain an ideal weight when trying to conceive. Women who weigh more than they should can take much longer to become pregnant than women who retain proper weight, according to their BMI. If you are currently trying to lose weight through a diet and exercise plan, then you should know that it is probably not best to develop an extremely rigorous and intense exercise routine. Exercising rigorously can disrupt your ovulation cycle and lead to ovulation delays. This is a common problem when women exercise too much. If you notice that your period has started to come later and later each month, then this is a sign that you need to take it easy with your exercise routine.

It is wise to lose weight gradually and consistently when trying to conceive. Try not to exercise every day, but partake in physical activities every other day. This will help to reduce your stress, allow your body to recover after exercise, and it will also help with retaining a consistent ovulation cycle. Also, you do not need an intensive workout. An aerobic routine that elevates the heart rate for about 30 minutes or a bit more is ideal for your health.

If you do exercise, then make sure to drink plenty of water and also eat foods that are high in protein so your muscles can recover quickly. These things will help to keep your body in great shape while trying to become pregnant.

If you are trying to conceive, then you may feel somewhat stressed about becoming pregnant. You do not need to be stressed though. If you are unsure about what to do or how to relieve your stress, then speak with a pregnancy expert.

About Me

Chiropractic Healing Works

I used to be skeptical about chiropractic healing. However, that was before I tried it for myself. I was in an accident that did serious damage to my back. I followed all of the doctor’s recommendations, did my physical therapy, and still didn’t feel any better. That was when I finally decided to try going to my friend’s chiropractor. It was such a relief when I finally started to feel better thanks to the great chiropractic care I received. That’s when I decided to start researching chiropractic care and how it could be used to treat different conditions. This blog contains the results of that research. If you’re looking for a way to feel better, you too may benefit from chiropractic healing. These articles will help you learn how.
